Spaces Filling Up Fast in Summer Camps for Performing Arts at the Quick

Sign your kids up today! Just a few Missoula Children’s Theatre summer day camp spots remain, and registration is also open for a variety of four-day Summer Intensive afternoon arts camps.

Missoula Children’s Theatre

For the 30th summer in a row, the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts will welcome the internationally recognized Missoula Children’s Theatre Company back to Fairfield University’s campus, to run six weekly sessions of their renowned theatre camp, each culminating in an exciting Friday evening stage performance.

Choose one or more week-long session from among this summer’s Missoula Children’s Theatre day camp lineup:

July 8 – 12:                  Pinocchio

July 15 – 19:                Peter and Wendy

July 22 – 26:                Aladdin

July 29 – Aug. 2:          Robinson Crusoe

August 5 – 9:               Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

August 12 – 6:             The Emperor’s New Clothes

Children in grades 1 through 12 are invited to participate. A variety of speaking and ensemble roles are offered each week, and no advance preparation is needed.

 Summer Camp Intensives

In addition to Missoula, the Quick offers Summer Camp Intensives, which are specialized afternoon arts camps that run Monday through Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. Each Summer Intensive is a crash course in a specialized arts topic, taught by a talented local artist:

July 8 – 11:                  Fashion Design

July 15 – 18:                Hip Hop

July 22 – 25:                Graffiti

July 29 – Aug. 1:          Singing for the Stage

August 5 – 8:               Painting the World

August 12 – 15:           Art of Photography

August 20 –22:            FLEXN Hip Hop
