Fairfield To Celebrate Senior Class Donors With Champagne Toast, May 10

Class of 2019 celebrating, Celebrate Your Senior

The Class of 2019 is very close to breaking this year’s Senior Class Gift participation goal.

A Fairfield tradition and a part of Senior Week, the Senior Champagne Toast will be held on May 10 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Bellarmine Hall. The purpose of this pre-Commencement celebration event is to thank seniors who have made their Senior Class Gift so far this year. At the end of the Champagne Toast, Fairfield President Mark R. Nemec, PhD will give the final toast to congratulate seniors on all of their academic success and wish them the best of luck on their post-graduation journeys.

From new friends, to memorable lectures, to weekend retreats, Fairfield has inspired senior students’ growth and has made an indelible impact on their lives. The Senior Class Gift initiative was launched as a way for seniors to embody the Jesuit spirit of being men and women for others, and to show gratitude by making a gift in honor of the Fairfield professors, staff, programs, and events that helped make the Fairfield experience so special and valuable. Seniors who make their gift prior to the Champagne Toast have an opportunity to receive a Senior Class Gift pin that can be worn on their Commencement gowns.

To participate in the Senior Class Gift, each senior can make a gift of $20.19 at fairfield.edu/seniorgift or use Venmo @Fairfield-UniversityGiveaGift. Each Class Gift helps future students gain access to opportunities that will make their Fairfield experiences memorable and transformative. Participation in Senior Class Gift is also a way to reassure seniors that even though they may be leaving campus, they will forever be a part of the Stag family as alumni.
