Graduate programs in Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business and Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies have again been named among the best in the nation according to the 2019 “Best Graduate Schools” ranking from U.S. News and World Report – with almost all programs rising this year over last year’s rankings.

  • Fairfield’s business programs in finance, marketing, and accounting are ranked #1 in the state and Top 20 in the U.S. Fairfield’s part-time MBA program is #2 in the state and jumped into the Top 100 in the nation.
  •
  • Fairfield’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) jumped 11 spots into the Top 50, second only to Yale for the best in the state. The Master of Nursing program jumped 10 spots to 64 from 74 last year, and is among the Top 3 in the state.

The Schools’ rankings were determined, in part, by voting from peer institutions, and were based on factors such as faculty resources, research activity and awarded grants, and student selectivity.

The full list of rankings for full-time graduate programs in the Dolan School and Egan School is below.

Business:

  • Best Grad Business Specialty Program: Part-Time MBA #89, second in the state (vs. #101 last year).
