Students can take part in a series of workshops at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced level.

As part of Dolan’s Professional Development Series (PDS), students will have several chances this semester to develop or enhance their Microsoft Excel skills. The workshops are designed to give students opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills needed to complement their coursework so that they can enter the business world with confidence.

Instructor Kathy Nantz, PhD, interim associate dean and professor of economics, will instruct two rounds of three sessions including Introduction to Excel, Intermediate Excel, and Advanced Excel. Whether for internships or for full-time jobs after graduation, the workshops are designed to educate students to be knowledgeable and comfortable with spreadsheet operations.

The first round of Microsoft Excel workshops will take place on February 5, 12, and 19. The second round will run February 27, March 6, and March 13. For details and to register students should visit OrgSync.

Workshops are held from 4 – 6 p.m. in Dolan room 110B.
