Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies to Host Information Session, Apr. 17

Prospective students are invited to meet members of the Egan faculty and learn more about Fairfield University’s nationally ranked doctorate, master’s degree, and accelerated second-degree bachelor’s in nursing programs.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Fairfield University’s nationally ranked Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies will host an information session on campus for individuals interested in pursuing a doctorate, master’s degree, or accelerated second-degree bachelor’s in nursing.

The free event will address the many facets of Fairfield’s highly ranked and nationally accredited nursing programs and will offer prospective students the opportunity to have their enrollment questions answered one-on-one by admission, academics, and financial aid representatives. Program information will be provided about the Egan School’s wide range of graduate and post-baccalaureate nursing programs, including DNP programs in Nurse AnesthesiaNurse Practitioner, and Nurse Midwifery. Other programs include the MSN in Nursing Leadership and the 15-month second-degree bachelor’s program in nursing, to name a few.

In addition to meeting members of the Egan faculty and staff, attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the University’s state-of-the-art nursing and health sciences facility and learn more about the School's wide range of programs.

Individuals interested in attending the information session can register online at fairfield.edu/info or call the Office of Graduate Admission for details at 203-254-4184. All attendees will receive a complimentary gift and a $60 application fee waiver for the 2019-20 academic year.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive at the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies facility at 5:30 p.m. for registration, which will be followed by an hour-long, faculty-led program overview from 6 to 7 p.m. An optional tour of the Egan School facility, including the building’s state-of-the-art simulation laboratory, will be held directly following the information session.

Fairfield University’s Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies is ranked among the best in the country and in the Top 3 in the state by U.S. News and World Report.
