New Degree Programs

  • A new five-year dual degree program in Software Engineering has been established in the School of Engineering. The two degrees, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree will both be awarded at the end of the five-year study. This program has been accredited by the State Board of Higher Education.
  • The School of Engineering has established a minor program of studies in engineering for non-nongineering majors

SpotlightThe School of Engineering offers Bachelor of Science degrees, Master of Science degrees, and Certificate programs. Students pursue their studies on a full-time or part-time basis. The School's core mission is to maintain the highest level of institutional integrity, and to offer to students the opportunity to combine academic study with professional practice, in a learning environment where faculty and students can give expression to their creative potential.The engineering faculty and counselors are professionals active in the technology that energizes Connecticut's diverse industry.

The information on this Web site covers the areas of admissions, academic requirements, financing one's education, scholarships, academic schedules, standards of student conduct and other matters of interest.

Very important are the engineering degree requirements. Students are encouraged to plan their program on the basis of these requirements and review it with their advisor.

Transfer students are welcome and will always receive fair and realistic transfer of credits for college-level work that was completed elsewhere.
