Women’s Lacrosse Set to Play Princeton in NCAA First Round

The Fairfield women’s lacrosse team claimed the 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship with a 9-7 win over Canisius. The Stags earned an automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Fairfield will open tournament action against Princeton on Friday, May 8 in Stony Brook, N.Y. will announce additional details as they become available throughout the week.

The Water Focus is in full swing at Fairfield and well into its second semester of exploration both in and outside the classroom, with a full spectrum of classes and events that challenge and intrigue. With more than 70 percent of the earth’s surface covered by water, students, faculty, and staff, have had plenty of opportunities to explore the issue through practically every discipline across campus.
