Image: Fairfield campus Theatre Fairfield , Fairfield University's resident production company, continues the 2010-2011 season with "T.F. Showcase," an evening highlighting the work from the university's fall advanced acting course. The production will be performed at Fairfield's PepsiCo Theatre, Thursday, Feb. 10 through Saturday, Feb. 12 at 8:00 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Feb 13.

"In this production we are focusing on the relationship between the story, the storyteller and you, the audience," said director Mariah Sage. "The production presents a wide range of acting styles in a variety of genres, including both contemporary and classical monologues, comedic scenes, and musical numbers, all performed by eight actors," she continued. Playwrights range from Christopher Durang to William Shakespeare and include musical numbers from "A Chorus Line" and "Songs for a New World." "We've put the works together in a showcase format, meaning we will move quickly from piece to piece, with each actor performing more than one character."

The cast includes seniors Alexandra Burke, Elayne Cassara, Kerry Davies, Pamela English, and Amanda Xeller as well as junior Nancy Laskowski, sophomore Michael Maio, and guest actor Jaelle Cassara.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $6 for seniors and University staff, and $5 for students. For tickets call the Quick Center Box Office at (203) 254-4010 or toll free at 1-877-ARTS-396. For more information visit http://www.fairfield.edu/quick .
