In addition to the performing arts, the Quick offers summer courses in fashion and sewing.

Register today! Summer acting camps, performing arts enrichments, and fashion intensives are filling up fast at Fairfield’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE
Acting, singing, and dancing return to the Quick Center stage this summer! Register your aspiring actors (grades 1 through 12) for any of six separate weeks of action-packed, in-person Missoula Children’s Theatre camps. All participants will be given a role to play — no experience necessary — and each end-of-week, full-scale production will be performed complete with costumes, songs, and dance. This summer’s plays are Alice in Wonderland, Johnny Appleseed, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Sleeping Beauty.

Extra, Extra!
Create a full-day camp experience with Extra Extra! Two additional afternoon hours (2–4 p.m.) of camp will enhance your children’s experience and allow them to collaborate directly with Missoula directors on a small group project that will be showcased on performance night.

Sign your kids up for MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE using the 2021 Registration Form (PDF).

SUMMER INTENSIVES
Summer Intensives are a great platform for creative kids to dive into the arts! Performing arts courses include “Singing for the Stage” and “Acting and Audition Prep,” both taught by Julliard-trained singer and performer Lucia Palmieri.

Fashion deep-dives are taught by FIT graduate Sooo-z Mastropietro, who specializes in fashion and textile design. Mastropietro will take participants through design steps from idea creation and illustration to sewing wearable clothing and accessories in these Summer Intensive classes: “Introduction to Fashion Design,” “Fashion Illustration II,” and Sewing II.”
