What was your favorite memory from this past season?
My favorite memory from the past season is the 800-freestyle relay at MAAC Championships. Our relay team has gone in the 1 seed relay in this event for the past few years but had yet to get the job done at conference championships until this year. When we won that event this year the whole men’s team knew this season was different and we knew that this was the year we would have our first ever team championship.
What I most enjoy about being a member of a Fairfield University Athletics team?
I enjoy the built-in family that I get with being on a team at Fairfield. From coming in as a freshman with 50 best friends built in, to now being an upperclassman that can mentor the younger classes, the team has made my time here worth it. A lot of our time together is spent grinding out tough practices and that brings us closer together and makes the rest of the time together a lot more fun!
My favorite Fairfield memory so far…
My favorite memory at Fairfield has been jumping into the pool at MAACs after winning the championship this year. A major reason I came to Fairfield was to be a contributor to our first team championship and to be able to cross that off my list was a great sense of pride and accomplishment. Winning with this group of guys made the feeling even better since I know how much everyone worked towards our common goal.
How my experience at Fairfield University has influenced my life and perspective
My Fairfield experience has shaped me for the future and set me up for success. It has given me an excellent professional network of mentors and peers for me to use when I go into professional world post-graduation. Fairfield has also given me lifelong friends and a place to always call home years after graduating no matter where I end up. My three years here so far have been filled with great memories and great people and I’m excited to see my last year play out.
My career goals / future plans are…
I have accepted a position at Alvarez and Marsal in their transaction advisory group in the Boston office, where I will start in August 2027. I hope one day to move abroad and work to explore more cultures from around the world.
