For the third consecutive season, Fairfield Women’s Basketball has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Champion! The Stags defeated top-seeded Quinnipiac, 51-44, on March 9 in Atlantic City to bring home the third straight conference crown and the seventh in program history. Jillian Huerter ’27 was named the MAAC Championship MVP after scoring 16 points, including four three-pointers, in the championship game.
Huerter was joined by Meghan Andersen ’27 and Cyanne Coe ’28 on the MAAC All-Championship Team. Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis earned her third MAAC Championship, tying Hall of Famer Dianne Nolan for the most in program history.
