Women’s Lacrosse Wins Fourth Straight MAAC Regular Season Championship

The Stags will host the conference tournament May 1 and May 3 at Rafferty Stadium.

For the fourth consecutive season and the 17th time in program history, Fairfield University Women’s Lacrosse has won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship. Following an unbeaten run through the conference, the Stags will serve as top seed and host of the MAAC Championship tournament, set for May 1 and May 3 at home on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.

Including an 8-0 MAAC record, the Stags enter the postseason at 12-3 with a nine-game winning streak. Fairfield has won six of the last seven MAAC Championships and reached the NCAA postseason in seven consecutive seasons led by Head Coach Laura Field.

As the top seed, Fairfield has earned a first-round bye and will begin tournament play in the semifinal round on Friday, May 1 at noon against an opponent to be determined. The MAAC Championship Game is set for Sunday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at Rafferty Stadium and live on ESPNU.
