Dolan School’s FAD Honorees Recognized on April 2, 2025

On April 2, more than 700 alumni, parents, students, and friends of Fairfield University gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City to honor notable alumni and distinguished faculty, including honorees of the Dolan School of Business.

Alumni Professional Achievement Award: Joseph R. Bronson ’70

Joseph R. Bronson ’70 founded The Bronson Group, LLC, in 2012, a business advisory group specializing in operational and financial consulting for high-tech companies. As the Principal and CEO, Bronson led his firm to success, establishing it as a trusted and impactful resource for clients worldwide.

Alumni Service Award: Adrienne Johnson-Dowling ’91, P’28

Adrienne Johnson-Dowling ’91, P’28 is Head of Internal Audit and SOX Reporting at Apollo Global Management, a leading provider of alternative asset management and retirement solutions. Outside of her professional career, Adrienne and her husband Lee are the proud parents of Nicholas, Delanie, William ’28, and Demi, and they manage their family’s Wagyu cattle farm, Deer Hill, in Cazenovia, NY.

Distinguished Faculty/Administrator Award: Joan L. Lee, PhD, P’19

 Joan L. Lee, PhD, P’19, (formerly Joan L. Van Hise) has dedicated nearly 30 years to Fairfield University, with a steadfast commitment to educating the whole person at the core of her work. Throughout her career, Dr. Lee has consistently worked to expand her understanding of the principles and possibilities within Jesuit education. This unwavering effort has earned her national recognition as an educator, made her an influential part of Fairfield’s growth, and endeared her as a beloved professor to many.
