27th Annual Teddy Bears with Love Drive
In December of 1999, the Office of Alumni Relations at Fairfield University kicked-off what would come to be known as the annual “Teddy Bears with Love” Drive. Today, our Student Alumni Association continues to proudly spearhead this effort!
Thanks to the generosity of thousands of alumni, families, students, employees, and friends of Fairfield University, over 28,500 teddy bears (and stuffed animals) have been donated to dozens of children’s hospitals and charities not only in Connecticut, but across the country.
This year, we celebrate the 27th Anniversary of this award-winning program. If we collect 1,434 teddy bears or stuffed animals, we will reach our 30,000 milestone!
Thank you to everyone who continues to make our tradition of sharing "bear hugs" with children at the holidays possible! We couldn't do it without you!
