Meet your new Alumni Association Board President: Kristin McMahon '87, P'21, '20
Your time at college shapes you, providing you with experiences that stay with you long after you leave campus. We like to think that this is especially true for Fairfield alumni, who are known for staying connected with their fellow classmates years after graduation. One way they make this happen is by getting involved with the Alumni Association.
Comprised of a wide representation of Fairfield alumni - demographically, geographically, in occupation, and graduation year, the Association's Board of Directors work hand-in-hand with the University to represent their fellow alumni and be your voice back to Fairfield.
If you are interested in getting involved, or just learning more about the Alumni Association, contact Alumni Association President Kristin McMahon or any of our Alumni Board of Directors.
Our Mission Statement"The Fairfield University Alumni Association engages and supports alumni while fostering lifelong relationships with the University community in the Jesuit tradition."
With 9 regional chapters from Boston to San Francisco, there are many ways in which you can get involved based on your personal interests and time. You can participate in committees on the topics of Lifelong Learning, Service & Spirituality, and Career Development. Or help us to coordinate events in your area, reach out to prospective students, and volunteer to serve your local community.
Want to get involved? Fill out a Volunteer Interest Form and a member of our staff will be in touch. Or, to find out more about what volunteer opportunities are available and/or to reach out to your local Chapter leadership team, visit the Chapter Pages online or contact email@example.com.
Whether it’s been five, 25, or 45 years since you graduated, reunions are a special occasion for your class. As a volunteer, you are a valued member of our team. Reunions are an excellent time for alumni to renew their ties to the University, recognize their place in Fairfield’s history, and rekindle lifelong friendships. We are excited to welcome your class back to campus, and—with your help—look forward to an amazing weekend. So, let’s get started!
For more information or to sign up to join a Reunion Committee, please contact Carolyn Garibaldi, associate director, Reunion Giving at 203-254-4000 ext. 2174 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Class Ambassadors are a fundraising arm of the University, serving as liaisons—or the main line of communication—between the Fairfield Fund team and your class year’s alumni. Ambassadors give their time to help shape the learning experience for students by raising critical funds for everything from scholarships and financial aid to innovative research programs and inspirational faculty.
For more information or to volunteer as a Class Ambassador, please contact Agata Slattery, assistant director for Young Alumni & Philanthropy at 203-254-4000 ext. 2464 or email@example.com.
