At Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola, we accompany students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the Fairfield University community as they celebrate the significant moments of their faith journey.

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

OCIA is the Church's process for adults who are interested in becoming Catholic or completing the Sacraments of Initiation. Through prayer, formation, and community, University Students prepare to celebrate Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. Cohorts begin in the Fall Semester and Continue in the Spring Semester.

For more information, contact Daniel J. Horstmann, Director of Music & Liturgy, at (203) 254-4000 ext. 3458.
