Dear Fellow Fairfield University Parents and Guardians,

As the co-chairs of the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) and parents of Sofia '27, we are proud to be members of this terrific parent community at Fairfield University. From our first visit to campus, we felt embraced by this special community—and that feeling continues to grow stronger.

We felt inspired hearing President Mark R. Nemec, PhD, share his vision for a values-based, student-centered, and outcomes-driven education. Over the past two years, we've seen this vision come to life and the impact parent support has on the University’s trajectory.

Fairfield remains deeply committed to Jesuit Catholic educational values while embracing innovation and collaboration, equipping students with the skills and principles needed to thrive today. We are proud that Sofia chose Fairfield and that our entire family has been able to celebrate this experience and community alongside her.

We’ve loved attending events and games, volunteering through the Parent Ambassador program, participating in the PLC, and supporting Fairfield philanthropically. We invite you to do the same to enjoy all that this vibrant and welcoming community has to offer.

Members of the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) receive access to several benefits and automatically qualify for The President’s Circle membership. The President’s Circle giving society is a community comprised of Fairfield’s leaders in philanthropy, including alumni, students, and friends of the University, and local community members. Your member benefits from The President’s Circle with additional exclusive benefits through the PLC include:

As Parents Leadership Council members you are our best Parent Ambassadors and can participate in helping our students and the entire community in the following ways:

• Reach out to new Fairfield University families to welcome them and answer questions.
• Invite other parents to support the University with a gift of any size to the Parents Fund.
• Host and/or attend summer student and parent welcome receptions and other events with parents in your area.
• Make calls to thank parent donors for their support of the Parents Fund.
• Serve as ambassadors of the University in your community and in the Fairfield University community.
• Make connections for the Career Development Office and support them with internships and job shadow opportunities for students.
