Fairfield University to Host Reclaim the Flag (2025) Exploring the American Flag Through Film and Public Dialogue

Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts in partnership with the Fairfield University Art Museum, will host Reclaim the Flag (2025) on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., at the Quick Center.

About Reclaim the Flag

Reclaim the Flag (2025) is a documentary film that examines the American flag as a cultural symbol of unity for all Americans, particularly the LGBTQ+ community. Featuring interviews with artists, activists, and cultural thinkers, the film explores how national symbols evolve and how film and public dialogue can help reclaim shared meaning.

The event includes a film screening followed by a moderated panel discussion and is free and open to the public; advance registration is required.
