Fairfield Dolan School to Host AI & Tech Institute x Synchrony Student Case Study Showcase

Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business will host the inaugural AI & Tech Institute x Synchrony Student Case Study Showcase on Thursday, May 7, highlighting how students are applying AI to real-world challenges.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Dolan School Event Hall and will feature keynote speakers, student project presentations, and a networking reception.

Applying AI to Real-World Business Challenges

The showcase will highlight student-led projects focused on practical applications of AI in business, including:

  • automated documentation generation
  • AI-assisted data preprocessing
  • AI-drive coding automation

Industry Leaders in AI and Innovation

The event will feature keynote speakers from Synchrony Financial on generative AI:

  • Abhijit Chinai | Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives & Non-Bank Products
  • Mike Storiale | Senior Vice President, Innovation, Payments & AI

Speakers will share insights on the evolving role of AI in financial services, innovation strategy, and the future of technology-driven business solutions.
