FAIRFIELD, Conn., (March 12, 2019) — Graduate programs in Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business and Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies have been named among the best in the nation according to the 2019 “Best Graduate Schools” ranking from U.S. News and World Report– with almost all programs rising this year over last year’s rankings.

The Schools’ rankings were determined, in part, by voting from peer institutions, and were based on factors such as faculty resources, research activity and awarded grants, and student selectivity.

Included in the ranked programs are Fairfield’s part-time MBA and its full-time graduate programs in finance, accounting, marketing, as well as the University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Nursing.

Nearly all programs climbed the list, including the Egan School’s DNP program which jumped 11 spots into the Top 50 in the nation. Fairfield’s marketing and accounting programs remain in the Top 20, and the part-time MBA program is now ranked in the Top 100. The Egan School’s Master of Science in Nursing program is again among the Top 100 in the country.
