Business Breakfast: Building Creativity in Your Organization

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (Jan. 19, 2017) — Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business will host the next Business Breakfast: Building Creativity in Your Organization on Friday January 27, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. This event is free and open to the public. Continental breakfast will be provided.

The morning will focus onteachingattendees how to integrate entrepreneurial and innovative principles at work. Dr. Carl Scheraga, chair of the department of Management and professor of Business Strategy and Technology Management, will be the keynote speaker . Dr. Scheraga will be joined by Richard Cerrone, former executive from Xerox, and Mary Ann Rooke, executive director of Crossroads Venture Group.

Dr. Scheraga shared, “Creativity can be seen as an underlying process for the generation of novel and useful ideas. During this discussion we’ll explore how creativity at a firm is more than the sum of member creativity; it is also a function of the organizational structure and the strategic management approach employed.”
