FAIRFIELD, Conn. (October 28, 2016) The National Theatre’s multi-award-winning production of War Horse , seen by more than four million people worldwide since its premiere at the National Theatre in 2007, will make a stop at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center of the Arts, presented in HD.

War Horse is the heartfelt tale of a young boy named Albert and his beloved horse, Joey, who is needed for the use of the British military in World War I.  Since Albert is not old enough to enlist he sets out on the journey to find his horse and bring him home.

The Telegraph wrote, “Genius isn’t too strong a word to describe this astonishing production.”

In 2011, the Broadway production of War Horse was the winner of five Tony Awards including Best Play and a Special Tony Award for the Handspring Puppet Company.
