FAIRFIELD, Conn. (January 26, 2016) — Experience raw intensity and passion when Yamato: The Drummers of Japan take the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts stage to perform their original composition, “BAKUON” – Legend of the Heartbeat, on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 8 p.m.

Founded in Japan’s Nara Prefecture in 1993, Yamato has traveled to 51 countries and regions, performing on traditional Wadaiko drums. These renowned drummers pour the spirit of Japan into their instruments, offering a heart-pounding experience unlike any other! For the members of Yamato, every encounter with their listeners is unique. Their goal is “to send their audience home with a new vitality and passion for life.”
