Emmy-winning host, Tim Gunn, shares his expertise as part of Quick Center’s signature lecture series

Tim Gunn, best known as the Emmy-winning co-host, mentor and one of the producers for Lifetime's Project Runway , the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 8 p.m. for the first Open VISIONS Forum of the 25 th anniversary season. The event is titled, "Fashion Today & Designing Your Future Life & Careers."

Tim Gunn has held a number of prominent positions in the world of fashion, including fashion dean at Fifth & Pacific, chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne Inc. and member of the administration and faculty at Parsons School of Design for 29 years. In addition, Gunn is a New York Times best-selling author, penning Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons for Making it Work and Tim Gunn’s Fashion Bible: The Fascinating History of Everything in Your Closet.

The Open VISIONS Forum is Fairfield University's signature lecture series, which features notable speakers addressing an array of ideas, cultural trends, and global issues. Modeled on the hallowed tradition of the New England town hall meeting, the forum presents world-respected opinion-makers, leading enriching and engaging public conversations.
