The Cat in the Hat comes to the Quick Center for an afternoon of family fun! | Press Releases

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (October 22, 2015) – The 25th anniversary season of the Quick Center for the Arts continues on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 3 p.m. with The Cat in the Hat , produced by Childsplay, one of the country’s top professional theatre companies for young audiences. Following the performance, the Quick Center will provide juice and cookies.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears at their door, Sally and her brother know that the Cat in the Hat is the most mischievous cat they will ever meet. Suddenly the rainy afternoon is transformed by the Cat and his antics. Will their house ever be the same? Can the kids clean up before mom comes home? With some tricks (and a fish) and Thing Two and Thing One, with the Cat in The Hat, the fun's never done! Based on the book by Dr. Seuss and adapted and originally directed by Katie Mitchell.
