Eight teams vying for $20,000 in prizes and sponsorships for innovative and exciting business plans

WHO: Eight of 14 semifinalist teams of students from across Fairfield University

WHAT: The 4th Annual Business Plan Competition Finale at Fairfield University

WHEN: Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 6-8 p.m. Winners are slated to be announced at 7:30 p.m.

DETAILS: Each team will get six minutes to pitch their plan for a new business – with ideas ranging from a pedicab service for college campuses to a ranking program for fantasy sports players to a social movie app for Bollywood film fans. The teams will cover their value proposition, partners, revenue stream, cost structure and more. A panel of venture capital experts and entrepreneurs will judge the plans and award up to $20,000 to the teams they believe have the most viable plan.
