Fairfield University is buzzing with the news of their latest Top 10 college rankings by TIME’s Money Magazine and The Accounting Path .

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (August 25, 2015) — In a report published this week, TIME’s Money Magazine named Fairfield University among the “10 Great Colleges That Don’t Care About Your SATs.” Also described as " Money ’s best-value schools where test scores are optional,” the article emphasizes the excellence of a Fairfield education, giving Fairfield a “Value-added Grade A.”

Additionally, Fairfield’s Master of Science in Accounting program was included in the Top 5 AACSB accredited programs in New England by The Accounting Path , an information website for students interested in accounting careers. With the program's small class sizes, the article recognizes Fairfield as a University that allows close relationships with professors and classmates, prepares students for success on the CPA exam, and targets the "Big 4 employers” for graduates.

Fairfield’s SAT test-optional admissions policy allows prospective students to be assessed on all measures of academic success, as well as curricular and extra curricular achievements. According to Karen Pellegrino, Fairfield University’s Associate Vice President and Dean of Enrollment, approximately 25 – 30% of the university’s applicants and 35 – 40% of enrolled students choose not to submit SAT test scores.

Fairfield’s Master of Science in Accounting program is a full-time program that allows student to finish their MSA in one year, with time off to take portions of the CPA exam, or intern in public accounting.
