"Angels on the Wing" event at Fairfield University

Image: Dolan School of Business "Angels on the Wing," a panel discussion on the angel investing process, will take place at Fairfield University, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 7 p.m.

Free and open to the public, the discussion will be held in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. Fairfield University's School of Engineering and the Charles F. Dolan School of Business are sponsoring the event with the Inventors Association of Connecticut (IACT).

Topics to be addressed include evaluation criteria for investment; increasing odds of success for your deal; case histories of successful deals; and how to access the Angel Investor Forum's new investment fund.

Panelists include Douglas Campbell III, chief executive officer of The Success Coach, who coaches top-performing executives, business owners, and professionals to achieve higher levels of success; Ed Goodwin, president of the Angel Investor Forum, Connecticut's largest Angel group whose members invest as individuals and as part of a common fund; and Steve Shwartz, co-founder of Device42, a software platform for data center inventory management with major customers around the world.

Serving as moderator will be Mike Roer, president of the Entrepreneurship Foundation, an organization supporting entrepreneurship through educational programs, business plan competitions, Startup Weekends, and connections to talent and capital.
