Fifty years later: Kennedy expert to discuss enduring controversy over assassination

Image: Dolan School of Business History lecturer Penny O'Connell will discuss the official story and conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20 at Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business Dining Room. "The Kennedy Assassination: 50 Years Later," which marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination, is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the University's St. Robert Bellarmine Pre-Law Society.

O'Connell, a former high school teacher who teaches at the University of Connecticut, will discuss recent information that sheds new light on what really happened on November 22, 1963, and the roles of Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, Allen Dulles, Lyndon Johnson and Robert F. Kennedy, among others. O'Connell has spent decades researching the events of the day and its aftermath.
