Who: ON THE SPOT , Fairfield University's premiere long-form improv troupe.

What : ON THE SPOT is an award-winning comedy improv company whose cast members are a group of Fairfield University student improvisers interested in furthering their improv education and having fun. Taking a suggestion from the audience to start the show, ON THE SPOT then continues with a comedy improv performance where anything can happen. After rehearsing and playing every week throughout the semester, ON THE SPOT is very excited to share the laughs with the Fairfield community.

When: 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012; 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012.

Where: The PepsiCo Theatre, on the campus of Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road, in Fairfield, CT.

Information: The ON THE SPOT company features Alicia Bissonnnette, Mike Elwell, Casey Grambo, Michael Maio, Andrew Nealis, Pam Perrimon, and Gabi Tozzi, and is directed by Jeff Stanley.

History: Since 1990, ON THE SPOT has been bringing comedy to the Fairfield University campus and throughout Fairfield County and New York City. It also regularly gives workshops for local high school students. The company is a multiple-award winner at the annual Improv Boston Beanpot College Comedy Competition.
