This event is sponsored by Fairfield Corps at Fairfield University with the endorsement of The Fairfield Cares Town Task Force and the Parent Teacher Associations of Fairfield Ludlowe and Warde High Schools. The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services financially supports the event.

A former NCAA All-American, International-level distance runner and World Masters Champion, Underwood has coached or advised more than two dozen Olympians including World and Olympic Champions.

Topics that will be addressed include:

• Tapping into the individual's athletic motivation
• Concept of team and collective responsibility
• Obtaining optimum athletic potential
• Helping reduce injuries
• Producing better athletes, performances and thus, better teams
• Improving academically, decreasing disciplinary problems, promoting character building
