Cast members include Brianne Bresky, Gary Cavello, Geoffrey Gilbert, Michael Sayers, Joe Mango, and John Watson. Daniel Smith, the series originator, is directing the production and adding live sound effects. He also composed original music for the show, to be performed by a string and wind quartet, and will join them on the piano and organ. Other band members include: Daniel Lee, violin; Yumi Oshima, viola; Agnes Nagy, cello; and Patrick Lombardo, clarinet/bass clarinet.

What: "Radio Oddities"
With "oddities" as the theme, this re-creation of 1940s radio performances features a range of unusual radio material, both comedic and haunting. Melodramatic music, overblown live sound effects and vintage commercials keep the pace going throughout the performance. The program includes "The Undecided Molecule" (1945), a crazy courtroom drama performed entirely in rhymed meter that originally starred, among others, Vincent Price and Groucho Marx. Also, a chilling piece, called "Pavane" (1947), begins when a little girl ghost appears after a sad piece of music is played, but ends with a surprising and emotional twist. Other "oddities" to be performed include "Hello, Sucker," a series of true stories of con men in small businesses, "Robinson Crusoe Junior," a justifiably short-lived children's adventure serial program, and "Calling All Stamp Collectors," a show that should never have happened. These Live Radio Drama performances are dedicated to Norman Corwin, one of the greats of radio writing, who died this year, and who wrote "The Undecided Molecule."
