National Theatre Live in HD: "One Man, Two Guvnors"

Quick Center for the Arts begins its 2011-2012 season of the National Theatre Live in HD presentations on Thursday, September 15, 2011 , with a 2 p.m. live performance broadcast and 7 p.m. encore presentation of the sold-out, five star production of "One Man, Two Guvnors." This comedy is a critically-acclaimed production about a tough-guy thug trying to keep his two employers apart. Tickets are $25 regular, $20 seniors, and $15 for students and children.

Nicholas Hytner's production by English playwright Richard Bean is based on "The Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni, with songs by Grant Olding. James Corden stars in "one of the funniest productions in the National's history" (The Guardian), returning to the National for the first time since he premiered in the original cast of "The History Boys." The "classic comedy, hilariously updated" (The Times) transfers to London's West End in November. National Theatre Live is an initiative by the UK's National Theatre to broadcast live performances onto cinema screens around the world.
