Quick Center for the Arts begins its stimulating 2011-2012 lecture season with Chuck Todd , NBC News Political Director and Chief White House Correspondent, at 8 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011 . With what The Washingtonian calls a "savant-like knowledge of politics," Chuck Todd has become a fixture in the White House Press Room, a steady and constant presence on television, and a tireless voice on the campaign trail. His up-to-the-minute poll analysis and insightful commentary has made him one of the most sought-after voices in American political coverage, and his on-air political analysis can be seen almost daily on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the Today show, and as the co-host of MSNBC's "The Daily Rundown." He also edits "First Read," the network's must-read guide to political news and trends in and around our nation's capital, and he is a contributing editor to Meet the Press . During the 2008 presidential campaign, Todd became a frequent contributor to several television news outlets, including C-SPAN's Washington Journal and MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews . During the 2004 campaign, he had the rare privilege of moderating one of the few presidential candidate forums in Iowa. Accompanying his extensive media presence is his work as a graduate level professor at the Johns Hopkins University.
