Governor Dannel Malloy unable to attend Fairfield University Dolan School of Business event tonight - Commissioner Catherine H. Smith to stand in for him


Please take note that Governor Dannel Malloy will not be attending "State of the State" event at Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business tonight, November 1. Commissioner Catherine H. Smith will be standing in for him.

All panel discussions and the reception for this event will take place.

At 4:15 p.m., there will be a State Agency-led panel moderated by Commissioner Catherine H. Smith on doing business in the state.

Dr. Donald Gibson, dean of the Dolan School, and Fairfield faculty members will take part in panel discussions about lending and business deals.

A TMA-Connecticut chapter panel discussion at 3 p.m. is entitled, "Neither a Borrower nor a Lender Be - Why Aren't the Banks Lending?" The moderator will be Kristin B. Mayhew, partner, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP.

An ACG-Connecticut chapter panel discussion, also at 3 p.m., is entitled, "Current Connecticut Deal Environment - The Deal Makers Perspective." The moderator will be Karin (McKittrick) Kovacic, Business Development, CBIZ MHM LL.
