Fairfield University's Center for Catholic Studies has announced its fall schedule, which includes prominent authors and scholars discussing front burner issues of importance to all. The Catholic Studies events are free and open to the public.

The events include:

Living Theology Workshop: "Isaiah in Early Judaism and Christianity," to be conducted by Angela Harkins, Ph.D., associate professor of religious studies. Saturday, September 10, 9:30 a.m. to noon. DiMenna-Nyselius Library Multimedia Room.

"Render Unto Rome: The Secret Life of Money in the Catholic Church," a lecture by Jason Berry, investigative reporter and playwright. Thursday, September 15, 8 p.m., Dolan School of Business Dining Room.

Wisdom House Conference - "Exploring Catholic Culture: An Imaginative Word," Timothy Radcliffe, OP, Dominican Friar, former Master of the Order of Preachers, and best-selling author, September 23, 6 p.m. until September 24, 3:30 p.m. This event will take place at the Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center, 229 East Litchfield Road, Litchfield, Conn. It is co-sponsored by the Center for Catholic Studies. Registration required.
