Fairfield University to host March 4 Info Session for Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions


Image: Open House Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions (GSEAP) offers 17 master's degree programs in fields ranging from applied psychology to TESOL/bilingual education. GSEAP, a leader in high quality programs that yield excellent job placements, will host a public Graduate Information Session on Thursday, March 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on campus at The Kelley Center.

The event includes presentations by faculty and deans who will discuss graduate programs in the areas of applied psychology, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, school counseling, special education, school psychology, elementary and secondary education, TESOL/bilingual education and educational technology which includes specialization in school library media.

Research shows that during uncertain economic times, people often return to college for graduate degrees that enhance their professional credentials for increased job security or to get additional education to enter a new career field. With strong goals for becoming a teacher, counselor, or therapist, a GSEAP candidate receives the type of the advanced education that ensures a solid foundation for future endeavors.

Discussions will include the many features and benefits of Fairfield's master's programs, admission criteria and important information on the many ways to finance a graduate education.
