Fairfield University's Bellarmine Lecture, to be delivered by Rev. Patrick J. Ryan, S.J., the Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society at Fordham University, has been rescheduled for Monday, March 1 at 8 p.m. It had been cancelled due to a snowstorm that hit the region earlier this month.

A scholar of comparative religion and Islamic studies, Fr. Ryan will explore the strikingly divergent ways Muslims understand the relationship between the Qur'an and culture in a talk entitled, "The Qur'an and Culture: Conflicting Models of a Relationship."

Sponsored by the Center for Catholic Studies, the event, free and open to the public, will take place in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room.
