The hilarious comedy troupe, Chicago City Limits (CCL) stops at Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts with "Wikiphobia," a wild send-up of the Internet age and all its concomitant foibles on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $30. This is a featured event in Fairfield University's Arts & Minds Season.

Chicago City Limits continues to delight audiences (it is New York City's longest running Off-Broadway show) with its combination of on-the-spot-improvisation and audience suggestions based on a theme. In this case, the notion that the Internet is slowly seeping into every corner of life and transforming the world, as we know it, drives "Wikiphobia." CCL's contention that Internet phenomena like Wikipedia should make all users wary "because the collected wisdom of humanity is a scary, scary thing" provides the juice that makes CCL's comic engine run.

The adept ensemble surfs the web at high-speed, taking issue with the issues and finding comedic links between the biggest stories in the news and actual news. Whether it's global warming or global blogging, networking or Netflix, international affairs or interpersonal ones, Chicago City Limits delivers an evening of fast-paced, high-energy comedy.
