Cinefest, the annual spring showing of films produced by students studying in Fairfield University's New Media Film, Television and Radio Program, will take place on Friday, April 30, at 6 p.m. in the Kelley Theatre of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Admission is free.

Students were invited to submit their films for consideration and ten will be presented with genres as diverse as comedy, drama and musicals.  Some were produced as part of a senior capstone course, but creative sophomores and juniors will also have their work shown.

After each film is presented, there will be a short Q&A with the director. The films go through a judging process and awards will be presented to the most outstanding works.

Questions about the event may be directed to Bridget Lake, digital media/TV producer at the Fairfield University Media Center, (203) 254-4000, ext. 2904. The New Media Film, Television and Radio is a program within the Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
