In two encore performances of The Met: Live in HD , Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts presents "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini on Sunday, Nov. 8 at noon and again at 6 p.m. The Met: Live in HD is a featured part of Fairfield's annual season of "Arts & Minds" events. Director Franco Zeffirelli's breathtaking production of Puccini's last opera is a favorite of the Met repertoire. Marcello Giordani sings CalĂ f, the unknown prince who eventually wins her love and whose solos include the famous "Nessun dorma." Andris Nelsons conducts.

Soprano Patricia Racette, who starred as Cio-Cio-San in last season's "Madama Butterfly" hosts the intermission interviews with singers and artistic staff.

The Metropolitan Opera's Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series The Met: Live in HD continues for its fourth season, featuring nine live transmissions.
