The Aquila Theatre Company performs William Shakespeare's As You Like It , one of his greatest comedies. It takes place in the Forest of Arden where love comes in all shapes, sizes and disguises. Set in a period of revolution in France when love conquered all, As You Like It tells the story of power-hungry men, girls playing guys and finding love in unexpected places. $30; ArtsBound: $7 for grades 5 and up

Redbone Leon Redbone , known for his trademark Vaudeville-style Panama hat with a black band and dark sunglasses, is a master at performing covers of turn-of-the-century music, Tin Pan Alley classics, Ragtime hits and melodious jazz. He made his network debut on Saturday Night Live in 1976 and since then has appeared in numerous commercials and, most recently, as Leon the Snowman in the comedy Elf. His fascinating and quirky persona intertwines with his mastery of the acoustic guitar to make his shows full of musical skill and comedy alike. $40, $35, $30

Sisters in Soul features Marcia Ball, Bettye LaVette and Maria Muldaur . These are three talented women who have been honored by the Grammys. Marcia Ball has been called, "A formidable musical force" by Billboard ; Grammy-winning Bettye LaVette is making her mark as one of the greatest soul singers in American music history; Maria Muldaur's roots are in the folk revival of the early 60s where she performed in Greenwich Village with Bob Dylan, David Grisman and John Sebastian. $50, $45, $40

New Haven Symphony Orchestra celebrates Revolution with Music Director and Principal Conductor William Boughton. The NHSO plays the music of two great composers set apart by 100 years, Schoenberg and Beethoven is a featured event in Fairfield University's 2009-10 area of focus, "Communities in Action: A Year of Activism." $40, $35

Friday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Moscow Festival Ballet performs Coppelia . Artistic Director Sergei Radchenko brings together the highest classical elements of the Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies and has fused them into a new company with leading Russian dancers, staging new productions of timeless classics. $45, $40, $35

The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia presents Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny for grades pre-K to 2. An innovative double-bill adaptation of the classic Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd bedtime stories. Sunday: $15 adults, $12 children. ArtsBound: $7. The ArtsBound series is sponsored in part by the Herman Goldman Foundation and Fairfield County Community Foundation.

Ambroise Thomas' Hamlet stars Simon Keenlyside and Natalie Dessay in a new production. For the role of Ophelia, the French composer created an extended mad scene that is among the greatest in opera. Reserved seating. $22 adults, $20 seniors, $15 children/students

Bennett Lecture in Judaic Studies features Martin Indyk , Acting Vice President for Foreign Policy, Brookings Institute and former U.S. Ambassador to Israel and Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs. The topic is "Will There Ever Be Peace in the Middle East?" The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Center for Catholic Studies presents the 4th Annual Jewish-Christian Engagement Lecture with Dr. Reuven Kimelman , professor of Classical Judaica, Brandeis University speaking on "The Seduction of Eve. Murphy Foundation Professor of Law and Professor of Theology, Notre Dame University. Dr. Kaveny will speak on "Law, Morality and the Culture Wars." The lecture is free and open to the public. The 8th Annual Catholic Studies/Voice of the Faithful Conference is co-sponsored by the Center for Catholic Studies and Voice of the Faithful in the Diocese of Bridgeport and features Dr. Elisabeth Schüssler-Fiorenza , Harvard Divinity School and author of In Memory of Her and Discipleship of Equals.
