Who:
Fairfield University Academic Vice President Orin Grossman

What:
"Rhapsody in Blue, Gershwin's Love Song to America" is the subject of Academic Vice President Orin Grossman's upcoming lecture and concert.

As a music scholar, Grossman answers many of the questions often posed concerning how Gershwin so brilliantly fused the popular music of his day with his own genius and created a new and enduring musical legacy. At Monday's event, he will explain the nature of Gershwin's special achievement and perform the entire Rhapsody.
