Saturday, February 2 at 8 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Live Music Project's "Jewish Themes" combines the secular and mystical worlds with works by Mendelssohn, Bloch (Suite Hébraïque) as well as original music written for this concert, all presented in the lively, approachable style of the Live Music Project. In addition, there will be dramatic readings of "The Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto" and the dark legend of a creature created to protect Jews, the Golem. Tickets are $30.

Saturday, February 9 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway is a jubilant musical revue of Broadway's most beloved songs performed by a cast of five Broadway stars from "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," "Cats," "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Jekyll & Hyde." The Broadway stars recreate pivotal moments from the triumphant classics to the newest hit shows. Tickets are $50, $45, $40.

Friday, February 15 at 8 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Marcia Ball and BeauSoliel avec Michael Doucet, "Mardi Gras Celebration" . Singer/pianist Marcia Ball knows how to raise roofs and tear down walls with her infectious, intelligent and deeply emotional brand of southern boogie, roadhouse blues and heartfelt ballads. Joining Ball is the Grammy-winning BeauSoleil, undisputedly the most esteemed Cajun group in music. Michael Doucet avec BeauSoleil take the rich Cajun traditions of Louisiana and artfully blend elements of zydeco. Tickets are $40, $35.

Friday, February 29 at 8 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Stamford Symphony Orchestra, "Bach & the Boys" - Eckart Preu conducts the acclaimed Stamford Symphony Orchestra in masterworks from "Bach & the Boys" - music even a genius dad would love. Tickets are $40, $35, $30.

Lectures

Wednesday, February 20 at 8 p.m., Quick Center for the Arts
Harold Ford, Jr. , former U.S. Representative, D-Tenn., Chair of the National Democratic Leadership Council and Political Contributor to Fox News. The event is co-sponsored by Open VISIONS Forum and Fairfield University Student Association (FUSA). Tickets are $45.

Young Audiences

Sunday, February 3 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, February 4 at 10 a.m., Quick Center for the Arts
A magical and delightful musical production of A. A. Milne's beloved "Winnie the Pooh , " for grades pre-K-4, is part of the Sunday Series. This is a Two Beans Production, presented through Theatreworks/USA. There is a Monday, 10 a.m. ArtsBound performance. Tickets are $15 for adults; $12 for children. Tickets for the ArtsBound performance are $7.

The Emperor's New Clothes: Contemporary Paintings and Drawings by Donald Vaccino . This exhibition features extraordinary artworks that are done from memory, imagination, observation or a combination of the three. They do not conform to usual expectations in that apparently different styles co-exist. "They are done in the spirit in which a musician practices with the intent of keeping my eye and hand in shape," explains Vaccino. Admission to the gallery is free. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 12-4 p.m. Closed Monday .
