Fairfield University announces Back To Campus Day for graduate and part-time students

Fairfield University will welcome its graduate and part-time students back to campus on Tuesday, August 26, with a special opportunity to register for classes, buy books, get their parking stickers and much more all in one location.

"Recognizing that for most adult learners, the crush of day-to-day responsibilities can make life hectic, Fairfield has decided to host its first Back to Campus Day," said Fairfield University President Rev. Aloysius P. Kelley, S.J. "Planned with adult learners in mind, the event will bring all services associated with registering and taking classes to one central location: the John A. Barone Campus Center."

From noon to 8 p.m. in the Campus Center, graduate and part-time students can register and pay for classes, buy their books and other supplies, get a parking sticker, receive immunizations, obtain a University Student ID card, join a tour of the campus and its facilities, and learn about the many other services at Fairfield University, such as library services, recreational and sporting events, and arts and entertainment events.

The Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions is also offering drop-in faculty advising from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 in Canisius Hall, Room 102. Students in other schools who would like to set up an appointment for one-on-one advising that day are encouraged to call their school and make an appointment. Advising for fall registration is always available by appointment throughout the summer.
