University College at Fairfield University hosts Open House for existing and prospective students

University College at Fairfield University, formerly the School of Continuing Education, will host an Open House on the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 28 and another on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The two-hour Open House will allow current and prospective students a chance to learn about University College and its offerings as well as register for classes. Attendees can also meet one-on-one with a counselor to discuss their situations and how University College can best serve them.

"Faculty representatives from a variety of areas will be present," said Patricia Brunetti, director of non-credit programs for University College.

The new University College offers credit and noncredit courses to meet a variety of schedules, from online classes to all-day Saturdays and once a week. The college will create closer links with the other academic units of Fairfield University to broaden the benefits and resources available, as well as expand its own programs and offerings. Programs are available for degree completion, graduate study entry, successful career building and new credentials personal fulfillment and living and studying abroad.
