Auditions at Quick Center for live radio broadcast

With an edge-of-your-seat script, spine-tingling sound effects and sinister psychological drama, "Terror on the Airwaves" is a four-part recreation of radio's earliest horror stories. Auditions for this chilling live radio drama will be held Monday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

"Terror on the Airwaves," will play two performances before a live audience in the Quick Center's Wien Experimental Theatre on Saturday, March 9 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. It will be broadcast live on WVOF, the university's radio station.

New Haven's Daniel Smith will direct the show. Auditioners should be concerned with voice quality only and not be dissuaded by physical attributes, age or gender. Audition material will be provided; there is no need to prepare anything in advance.

Because radio roles were always performed with scripts in hand, rather than memorized, rehearsals for "Terror on the Airwaves" will be limited to the week before the performance. For more information, call the Quick Center at (203) 254-4242.
