Chrystal L. Brown, of Gales Ferry, Conn., a member of Fairfield University's Class of 2002, was awarded the Fr. William Hohmann, S.J., Scholarship at a recent awards ceremony. This scholarship was established by alumni and friends in memory of Father Hohmann who was chairman of the university's economic department until his retirement.

Brown, an economics and politics major, has minors in French and Art History. A recipient of a Fairfield University Merit Scholarship, she received the scholarship on the basis of her academic record and financial need. She plans on having a career in the business world.
