Mariann Regan, Ph.D., a Fairfield resident, will read from and discuss her new novel, Immortality News, on Friday, Feb. 11, at 1:30 p.m. in the reading area at Fairfield University's Nyselius Library. The snow date is Feb. 18, at the same time and same location.

Ms. Regan, a professor of English at Fairfield University, also teaches courses in allegory, poetry, and women's and gender studies. She is also the author of Love Words, a book of literary interpretation published by Cornell University Press. A classical soprano soloist, she has performed with local chamber groups.
