Women’s Lacrosse is NCAA-Bound

After winning a second straight MAAC Championship, the Stags will challenge Army West Point in Baltimore on Friday, May 8.

For the second consecutive season—and the 10th time in program history—Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse has won the MAAC Championship. The Stags will meet #13 Army West Point in the 2026 NCAA Championship First Round, this Friday, May 8, at 6 p.m. The contest will be hosted on Homewood Field at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Fairfield earned a berth to the NCAA Championship for the eighth consecutive season after winning the MAAC with a commanding 13-4 victory over Siena last Sunday on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Fairfield will bring a 15-3 record and an 11-game winning streak to Baltimore.

The other side of the bracket will feature fourth-seeded and #5/10 nationally ranked host Johns Hopkins challenging America East Champion UAlbany on Friday at 3 p.m. The winners will meet in the NCAA Second Round on Sunday, May 10, at noon in Baltimore.
